Powerful ConVal rolls past Pelham

PETERBOROUGH — ConVal improved to 6-1 with a convincing 42-7 win over Pelham.

The Pythons (2-5) cut it to 21-7 on Zach Koch's 4-yard keeper in the second period but the Cougar were too much.

Defensive end Chris Barsalou had a big game for the Pythons with six tackles, a blocked field goal and three passes defended. Brett Lindsay and Matt Crowley and each had five tackles. Charlie Katin returned five kicks for 145 yards including a 65-yarder.

Pelham is at Hollis-Brookline Saturday at 1 p.m.
