AMHERST — Pelham actually led 8-7 after a quarter but when once-beaten Souhegan got rolling there was no stopping the Sabers en route to a 52-14 romp.
Although it was a long year for the Pythons (0-8), Ryan Demers put up all-star numbers. He had four catches for 92 yards and the first-quarter 49-yard connection from Trevor Gagnon.
Brian Lambert added a six-yard scoring run in the fourth.
Pelham coach Ryan Clark said it was a small but dedicated group of seniors suiting up for the finale. They were Gagnon, Demers, Dom Branco, Jack Ouellette, Patrick Spicer and Colin Loring.
