Key departures: Steve Anderson, Dennis Casagrande, Bub Giarratani

Strengths: With seven solid arms and the URI-bound Anthony Pisani up front, the Crusaders boast as much pitching depth as they've ever had. Dale Crispin adds some pop to the offense after transferring from Stoneham High.

Concerns: Fenwick is ripe with sophomores and juniors who will bring a lot of energy and intensity but might also take some time to get settled into their new roles early in the season.

Coach's outlook: "I can't ever remember having this many arms. In our scrimmages I've been very impressed with the way we've pitched and the great thing is they're all young. It's all about execution and who plays well | as long as we practice hard and make less errors than the other team we'll win our share of games."
