Coach:  Annamaria Addonizio (2nd season)

Returning players:  Carissa Roche, Sr., P; Sam Perry, Sr., C; Meg Magee, Sr., 1B/DH; Katherine Gorham, Sr., OF; Sara Stephens, Sr., OF; Marissa Gambale, Jr., SS; Mallorie McGrath, Jr., INF; Monica Mosho, Jr., OF; Kristin Vinal, So., P/OF; Erin McLaughlin, Jr., OF; Alex Wilson, So., OF/INF; Courtney Fletcher, So., OF/INF.

Strengths:  Six of the nine starters return and the pitcher (Roche) and catcher (Perry) have been together for four seasons. Addonizio feels she has an exceptionally fast team and the versatility of the players will give the coach flexibility to use them at different positions.

Concerns: The first and third base positions are unsettled and the outfield spots are up for grabs. The team has big holes to fill on defense.

Coach's outlook: "I think it's a promising year for us. The kids are more comfortable with the structure of having the same coach for a second year. We have to stay mentally strong. I think the team is talented enough to cause some damage in (the NEC) and to hopefully go deeper in the state tourney. These girls are really committed and my goal is to win our last game of the season."
