Brooke Beaudet took no prisoners, tossing her first no-hitter of the season as No. 3 Londonderry blanked No. 14 Manchester Central, 9-0, in the first round of the Class L tourney. She carried a perfect game into the sixth when the lone Little Green hitter to reach base did so via error.
Beaudet fanned 16, at one point striking out seven in a row and nine of 10.
"Everything was working," said Lancer coach Wayne MacDougall. "She was just that dominant out there."
Taylor Allard's three-run homer in the third was more than enough offense for Beaudet.
The Lancers, 17-3, open quarterfinal play Sunday at Memorial Field vs. Concord.
