After tying the game with four runs in the bottom of the seventh and another in the bottom of the eighth, Methuen's softball team (6-0) outlasted Dracut in a battle of unbeatens, 12-11.
The Rangers, who rallied from an early 6-0 deficit, amassed 17 hits and eight different players had RBIs. Winning pitcher Kayla Forgetta had a key two-run triple in the seventh and Nina Correia got the winning RBI in the 10th with a blast over the left fielder's head, her third hit of the game.
"It was a great game between two good teams," said Methuen coach Jason Smith.
