Trailing by three runs heading into the bottom of the eighth inning, Central Catholic delivered its second dramatic rally of the game, with Nick Gorski doubling to center field to drive home the tying and winning run for the Raiders in a 10-9 walkoff victory over Sandwich.
Central trailed by two runs with two outs in the seventh, when Brady Abraham doubled to score Anthony Licari and Cam Devanney. Sandwich retook the lead in the first extra inning 10-6, but back came Central. Evan Becht plated one run with a sacrafice fly, he scored on a single by Devanney and Gorski finished off the win with the double to again plate Licari and Devanney.
