Led by Nina Whitaker, and with superior depth, Salem's girls gymnastics team took first place for new coach Kyle Redmond in a season-opening home quad-meet. Whitaker placed in three events and was second in all-around with 34.65 points. Sam Cloutier was third in the vault and Marrina Mayo was third in the bars.
