Sarah Rothman ran one of her best races of the year, finishing 11th overall, as the Andover girls finished a strong third in the MVC meet behind Lowell and Chelmsford. Rothman was just one place behind Warrior standout Leila Aruri, who was clocked in 19:48 on Chelmsford's 5K course.

Banged-up Haverhill, which has dominated the league for years, slipped to sixth despite the 3-4 finish of Jackie Solimine (19:26) and Riley Gilmore (19:28).
