Merrimack women's volleyball won two more matches yesterday, defeating Dowling and Mercy in the NE-10/ECC Challenge held at Bentley.
The Warriors were the only team in the Challenge to go 3-0 as they defeated LIU Post (on Friday) as well as Dowling and Mercy. The victory over Dowling marked the first time in school history the Warriors (5-6, 0-0) defeated the Golden Lions in volleyball.
Senior setter Brianna Trabucco was named Tournament MVP.
She finished yesterday's two matches with 69 assists, eight digs. She had a match-high 44 assists and five digs in the Warriors' victory over Dowling.
