Windham's girls lacrosse team was more than ready for last night's Division 3 game vs. Hopkinton. The unbeaten Jaguars (17-0) scored four goals in the first two minutes of play, led 13-5 at halftime and wound up with an 18-11 victory over Hopkinton. Freshman Courtney Sweeney had six goals to lead the way and classmate Ali Connors added four.
The No. 1-seed Jaguars, who were just 7-8 last year, will play Kearsarge (15-1) in the champinship game at 7 p.m. Thursday at Southern New Hampshire University. Windham edged Kearsarge 12-11 back in April.
