Last year's record: 5-16 (lost to New Mission, 65-45, in Division 4 North first round)

Coach: Steve O'Connor

Key returnees: Tia Nelson (Capt.), Jr., center; Emily Hurst (Capt.), Jr., forward; Jess Dunn, Jr., forward; Hannah Evans, So., guard; Lyla Roth, So., guard/forward; Morgan Weir, So., forward.

Key departures: Mikaela Medeiros, Kelsey Trenty, Janelle Dineen

Strengths: Tia Nelson brings a great deal of experience, as this winter will be her third year in the starting lineup. It is also a very enthusiastic bunch of players.

Concerns: Other than Nelson, there isn't a lot of experience on the roster. The Vikings don't have any seniors.

Coach's outlook: "It's a rebuilding year. We're young and all the players will be back next season. We'd like to use the season to go into next year. We didn't win a game in the CAL last year."
