Coach: Thom Connors
Last season: 3-15
Key players: Jay Wheeler, sr.; Dan Jones, sr.; Bill Medvitz, jr.; Steve Serwon, jr.
Newcomers: Jared Flannigan, jr.; Zach Haggstrom, jr.
Strengths: The Indians should be a good defensive team and with a bit of size will look to go with the two-guard, three-forward system.
Concerns: With the loss of Dominique Houston, Amesbury has no pure shooter. The Indians will have to rely on the transition game, and a good half court post-up game to put points on the board.
First game: December 11th vs. Pentucket (6:30 p.m.)
Coach's outlook: "I think everything depends on how we start the season," Connors said. "The kids are in great shape, they are going to battle hard, and I think we will be in a lot of tight games that we can hopefully win a bunch."
