The Brooks boys soccer team scored early and scored late to defeat Williston 2-1 in the Class B semifinals yesterday and will play South Kent School in today's 11 a.m. finals against South Kent School.
The Green and White scored 45 seconds into the game on an Elijah Soko goal assisted by Seve Elkin and then scored in the 62nd minute on a Greg Conrad goal.
"The first goal came after we controlled the kickoff and passed it around about 20 times — they never touched it," said Brooks coach Dusty Richard. "It was an amazing goal."
Dylan Quigley played a superb defensive game, marking star Williston back Mark Richards and Sam Milbury had an excellent game in the back row.
Brooks (13-2-3) will be facing a South Kent team that is undefeated (18-0) and a three-time defending champion.
