From behind the net, Madeleine Parsons fired a pass to Shannon Beaton who faked the goalie and scored the game-winning goal with 9.8 seconds left to complete the rally and give Pentucket a 17-16 victory over Manchester Essex.
Pentucket trailed by a goal with 27 seconds left, when sophomore Kayla O’Connor tied the game and set up Beaton's winner, her third goal of the day.
"This game was sure worth the price of admission," said coach Bob Pierce.
