Pelham's struggling softball team put it all together to upset defending Division 2 state champion, Coe-Brown 6-4, grabbing the win in dramatic fashion in the bottom of the seventh on a two-run homer by Alex Hall against ace Corrine Lemauk. Red-hot freshman Melissa Mogauro was 2 for 3 with two RBIs and two runs scored and Jordan Parece threw a four-hitter for the win.
"It's the biggest win since I've been here," said fourth-year coach Todd Lozeau. "I've been waiting for us to play like this."
