Billerica won Game 5 15-8 to snap Haverhill's 17-match win streak. The Hillies' last loss was in the 2019 North semis to Lawrence. Kya Burdier had 12 kills and 43 digs for the 6-1 Hillies.

Kya Burdier led unbeaten Haverhill (6-0) in kills with 12 and had 2 blocks and 3 aces in a 3-1 win over Tewksbury. Freshman Gabbi Burdier had an impressive 39 digs.

Summer Zaino had 11 kills, Gabbi Burdier 13 digs and Morgan Flaherty four blocks as Haverhill volleyball improved to 5-0 with a 3-0 sweep of Lawrence.

Freshman Gabbi Burdier noted a team-high 21 digs and her senior sister Kya Burdier had 25 assists as Haverhill rallied from two games down to beat Lowell 25-27, 22-25, 25-22, 25-18, 15-9. Summer Zaino added 12 kills for the unbeaten Hillies (4-0).

Kya Burdier scored team-highs in kills (11) and assists (21) as Haverhill beat Central Catholic 3-0. Mia Ferrer-Valdez added 13 digs for the winners.

Sophomore Emmerson Cerasoulo led a young Haverhill team to a 3-0 season opening win over Newton South with 8 kills and 14 assists.
