Pelham won a thriller over Hollis/Brookline in OT 60-59 to advance to the Division 2 semifinals.  Tallie Carney, a 5-foot-2 senior, buried a deep 3-pointer to tie it up at 53 with about 10 seconds left in regulation. Megan Molettieri put the icing on the cake with a clutch 3 pointer in the extra frame.  Fab frosh Jasmine Becotte (15) and Jordyn Galgay (10) were the high scorers while Carney added nine points, all from deep. Senior Maddy Allard (6) and freshman Sophia Joncas (6) also played key roles.  In the regular season on Feb. 5, the Pythons, who are now 14-2, beat H-B 56-40. Pelham travels to Bedford High for the semifinals Thursday night. They will play 15-2 Bishop Brady. The two teams didn't play in the regular season.

Pelham's girls started slow but then applied some fierce defense to roll past Manchester West 54-26 in the first round of the Division 2 tournament. Trailing 15-8 after the first quarter, the Pythons (13-2) allowed only 11 points the rest of the game. Freshman Jasmine Becotte and senior Tallie Carney led the way offnsively with 18 and 17 points. Carney sank five 3-pointers. Pelham is at home at 5 p.m. Sunday in the quarterfinals.

Ellen McGough (23 points) and Madison Houghton (19 points) carried Sanborn to a 54-49 win over Pelham. Houghton also starred on defense. Tallie Carney (18 points) and Ashlyn Walsh (12) led the Pythons. 

Jasmine Becotte scored a team-best 17 points and Tallie Carney added 14 points as Pelham held off Goffstown 54-53. Maddie Allard led the Pythons' defense.

Freshman Jasmine Becotte led a balanced attack with 12 points as Pelham's girls remained unbeaten (10-0) with a 57-31 win over Con-Val.

Freshman Jasmine Becotte poured in a career-high 26 points as Pelham's girls stayed unbeaten, whipping Hollis-Brookline, 66-50.

In a 52-45 win over Sanborn, unbeaten Pelham got 16 points from Megan Molletieri (4 3-pointers) and 12 from Tallie Carney. Sanborn's Madison Houghton led all scorers with 17.

Pelham improved to 6-0, downing Derryfield, 50-37. Jasmine Becotte led with 19 and the Galgay sisters, Jordyn and Taylor, combined for 14 points.
