Trailing Dracut 18-3 after the first, Andover boys basketball roared back to pick up a 62-44 win. Brandon Witten led the way, scoring 29 points with five 3-pointers.

Beati on the boards

Max Beati continued the hot start to his season, scoring a team-high 18 points and grabbing 12 rebounds to lead Andover to a 76-58 win over Chelmsford. The Warriors also got 17 points frm Devon Beasley, and 14 points on four 3's from Cedric Gillette.

Perry's goodbye

E.J. Perry IV played his last game at Andover, and stuffed the stat sheet. He scored 10 points, grabbed six boards and added six assists and five steals as the Warriors beat Lawrence 80-66. Andover gave Perry a personnal senior night, having a little ceremony where he was presented with a framed copy of his jersey. He will enroll early at Boston College next week.

Christmas revenge

Methuen boys basketball avenged its Christmas Tourney semifinals loss, beating Andover 76-74. Kevin Fernandez had 24 points and Andrew Marcelino 18 points for Methuen, and Cedric Gillette and Max Beati each had 21 points for Andover. Devon Beasley scored 17 points in season debut for Andover as well.
