Windham's boys cross country team had a huge 25-31 win at perennial power Pinkerton. The Jaguars went 2-4-5-6-8 to claim the win with Rohan Rai leading the way with a 15:46 on the 3-mile course. Pinkerton senior Stephen Connelly was the winner in 15:41, which is the 11th fastest time on the course.

In a battle of two of the top Division 2 boys cross country teams in New Hampshire, Windham took four of the first six places to defeat Sanborn by nine points (24-33) in a four-team meet at Pelham. Rohan Rai finished first, overtaking Sanborn rival Jared Khalil in the final 150 meters to win by three seconds in 16:01. Windham's Trey Gonzalez ran a strong race for third.

For Methuen, Freddy Coleman won the sophomore race with a terrific time of 16:22.87 while teammate Xavier Metivier was runner-up in the senior race with a time of 16:36.58.

NASHUA — Pinkerton's boys have enjoyed some excellent races at the Meet of Champions, but perhaps none can compare with how the Astros ran Saturday.
With virtually every runner recording a personal-best time, the Astros qualified for New England with a stupendous second-place finish, coming in front of both Concord and Keene, both of which finished ahead of Pinkerton in Division 1.
