North Andover was able to contain Lynnfield star forward Mike Kennedy as the Scarlet Knights prevailed, 2-0. Jay Marchand and Drew Pickul did a great job marking Kennedy while Jorge Nunez and Gareth Dudney scored the goals for North Andover (4-3-1). Scarlet Knights goalie Dan Klisiewicz made nine saves while Kyle Medolo added an assist and Ryan Boudreau played well in the midfield.

Mukena Mbiye set up a pair of K.B. Oshodi goals as Central Catholic cruised to a 3-1 win over Billerica. Marc Crowley scored a second-half goal assisted by Oshodi, and Brendan Slein made nine saves as the Raiders improved to 4-1-2.

Giuseppe Guerriero scored twice as Manchester Essex drew Pentucket 2-2. Jake Buzzell and Brian Clevesy struck for Pentucket. Matt Graves made eight saves for Manchester Essex (3-2-3), and Joe Casey turned aside six shots for the Sachems (1-4-4).

Tim Gil and Joel D'Ambrosio each scored twice as North Shore Tech beat Whittier 5-0. Mike Silva also had a terrific game for the Bulldogs, scoring a goal and assisting on another.

Methuen won its fourth straight game, 1-0 over Tewksbury. Jim Cote headed in a corner kick from Gus Lopes for the Rangers' lone goal while Mark Dougherty made three saves for his second shutout of the season.

Corey Grant scored the game-winner late in the second half as Pinkerton topped Goffstown, 2-1. Jordan Ward scored the other Astros (9-0-0) goal while Josh DiPirro and Kenny Kolbeck assisted. Pinkerton goalie Chris Doyle made eight saves while Marc Siragusa, Zach Wheeler and Sean Kelly also played well.

Alex Herlich set up a pair of second-half goals, but Andover fell to Billerica 3-2. Alex Golan and Jeff Pirro scored the goals for Andover (2-4-2), and Adam Trotta made six saves in the loss.

LONDONDERRY, N.H. | Londonderry's Robbie McLarney spent last Friday night at Yurcak Field, Rutgers' 5,000-seat soccer stadium.

Hamilton-Wenham picked up a 2-1 win over North Andover. Joe Savasta and John Britton scored for the Generals, who got a solid performance from Jackson MacDonald in net.
