Whittier sophomore Grace Efosa won four events in leading the Wildcats to a 1-1 day in a tri-meet with Greater Lawrence and Lynn Tech. She took the long jump (15-0), triple jump (34-5.25), 200 meter (28.6) and was a leg on the winning 4x100 relay team (55.0). The Reggies, however, swept the meet.

Alex Viens was 2 for 4 with three RBIs and winning pitcher Lexie Malenfant was 2 for 3 with two RBIs as Greater Lawrence blanked Lynn Tech 12-0.

Amesbury girls basketball had its way with Lynn Tech on Wednesday, holding the opposition to just five points in the first half en route to a 56-20 win. Freshman Ciara Sullivan had seven steals in the best game of her young career, and Flannery O'Connor led the way with 22 points.

Senior captain Shakira Henriquez poured in a career high 24 points to lead 3-0 PMA to a 41-31 win iver Lynn Tech.

Junior Laisha Joaquin had 23 points and freshman newcomer Kyana Pena added 12 as Greater Lawrence's girls opened with a 54-42 win over Lynn Tech.

Shaina Garcia had 17 service points and eight aces as PMA locked up the Commonwealth Conference small title with a 30-28, 25-17, 25-15 win over Lynn Tech.

Whittier girls soccer shut out Lynn Tech 3-0 to officially qualify for the state tournament. Erin Procurot had two goals and Ally O'Connor had one, and the Wildcat defense dominated to the point where Lynn Tech couldn't even advance the ball past midfield in the second half.

Sydney Goodwin scored a stunning seven goals as Greater Lawrence won its first game of the year, hammering struggling Lynn Tech 8-0. Goodwin a senior captain, now has 18 goals this fall for the Reggies (1-11), who snapped a 15-game losing streak dating back to a 2-0 win last season again over Lynn Tech.
