Luke Surprenant scored 20 points and Trey Baker added 10 as Timberlane evened its record at 6-6 with a 48-36 win over Spaulding. Surprenant had 21 points in the previous game.

Aidan Kane scored a game-high 16 points, and Jackson Marshall added 15 points as Pinkerton stayed unbeaten (9-0) by crushing Spauling 75-37.

Salem opened up with a 59-48 win over Spaulding behind Ryan Pacy (27 points), Kaleb Bates (11) and Tyler Valerio (10). Justice Casado and David McGrail starred defensively off the bench.

Windham cruised to victory in the first round of the Division 1 volleyball tournament, blanking Spaulding 3-0. Taylor Stevens had 9 kills, 17 service points and 7 aces for the Jaguars(17-2)  and Lana Carboni had 6 kills, 10 service points and 10 digs.

Junior Matt Tarabocchia scored his first varsity goal to highlight Windham soccer's 3-0 win over Spaulding. Kyle Gschwend earned the shutout.

Winning pitcher Zach Gleason delivered three RBIs and Konrad Parker was 3 for 4 with an RBI and a run scored as Timberlane cruised past Spaulding 8-2.

Kendall Morrill's seven goals lifted Timberlane to a 13-6 win over Spaulding. Lily Brien added her first varsity goal.

Timberlane freshman Katherine O’Leary was 4 for 4 with two runs scored and classmate Alexa Salafia was 3 for 4 with two RBIs, but the Owls lost to Spaulding 8-4.

Abigail Farone went the distance for Timberlane in a 7-1 win over Spaulding. Olivia Matarazzo had three hits and Alexa Salafia and Maeve Perras scored twice.

"We played three games," said winning coach Leo Gravell with a weary laugh. Right he was as his Windham squad beat Spaulding, 7-6, in 17 innings. In the bottom of the 17th, Owen Larouco reached on a lead-off infield single to the shortstop deep in the hole. Keegan Parke then walked. With one out, Windham executed a double steal. With two outs, they scored the winner on a wild pitch. The relief pitching was sensational. For Windham, Charlie Breen went 9.1 innings of scoreless relief. He gave up three hits, no runs, 10 strikeouts and two walks. Then Joey Blair threw three innings of 1-hit, shutout relief. Braydan Decotis gave up no hits in the top of the 17th to earn the win. Gravell said, "We can withstand a game like that better than most because we have 5-6 guys who can throw strikes." Larouco was also the defensive star at second base. He made "3-4 plays to preserve the tie," said Gravell. Josh Scammon was the hard-luck loser. All he did was pitch 10 innings of 4-hit relief with his only run the unearned game-winner.
