Timberlane field hockey threw a scare into unbeaten Winnacunnet (9-0) before falling in OT, 2-1. Mackenzie Mlocek had the goal for the Owls (1-3) while Brandi Garand kept it close with nine saves. 

Jordyn Franzen poured in a season-high 26 points with five 3s to lead Salem to a 59-46 win over Winnacunnet on Monday. The star senior is just 31 points away from reaching 1,000 for her career.

Lukle Surprenant made three 3—pointers in the first quarter of his varsity debut. The sophomore finished with 12 points on four shots from deep but Timberlane fell to Winnacunnet in the Bobcat Tournament.

The Windham girls basketball team led for most of the way during its season opener before Winnacunnet tied the game at 33-33 with 1:57 left. But Sarah Dempsey (18 points) hit the go-ahead jumper with 35 seconds left, and Liv Tsetsilas knocked down two free throws to seal it for the Jaguars.

Tied 0-0 at the half, the Windham girls soccer team scored two goals in the first four minutes after the break in an eventual 5-0 win over Winnacunnet. Reagan Murray scored twice during the five-goal second-half onslaught for the Jaguars (6-8), who are now winners of three straight.

Sophomore Mason Pfeiffer scored his first goal of the season and it was the game-winner as Windham rolled past Winnacunnet, 3-0

Emma Johnston scored the first and last goal as Pinkerton's field hockey team remained unbeaten (10-0) with a 4-0 shutout of a strong Winnacunnet team.

After eight straight wins, the Salem volleyball team finally lost, 3-2 to Winnacunnet despite 21 kills from Lauren McCloskey and 38 assists from Kacie Blanchet.

Livi Manchester scored in the first half and that was all the Windham field hockey team needed to stay unbeaten (4-0), beating Winnacunnet 1-0.

Ella Dandrade led Pinkerton to a 3-1 win over Winnacunnet with 15 kills and an impressive 28 digs. Elle Koelb had 35 assists for the unbeaten (4-0) Astros.
