Pythons advance in OT!

Freshman Ava Owens scored 17 points and senior Danielle Sirois added 13 points as Pelham outscored Hanover 10-5 in overtime to take the 43-38 win. The victory advances to the Pythons to the New Hampshire Division 2 semifinals where they will play top seed and undefeated Lebanon Tuesday at 8 p.m. at SNHU. The two teams have not played each other this season.

Chris Gile gave Pinkerton the lead 1:12 into the game with a goal, then set up Cody Sullivan for the insurance score with 1:32 left in the contest to give the Astros a 2-0 win over Hanover. Winning goalie Dakota Robinson made 28 saves, including a penalty shot to keep his team in the lead.

Kenneth Thurston scored the winning goal for Timberlane (13-1) in the 79th minute as the Owls earned a statement 3-2 win over fellow Division 1 power Hanover (11-2). The Owls also got two goals from Brandon Beane.

Windham's title defense ends in semis

The third time was not the charm for the Windham girls lacrosse team, who fell to Hanover for the third time this season in Saturday's Division 2 state semifinal by a score of 12-11. Though Windham led 8-7 at halftime, Hanover outscored the Jaguars down the stretch to avenge their loss to Windham in last year's state championship game.

Emma Lindquist led the way on offense with five goals and two assists, and Lexi Lewis and Abigail Lagos each had two goals for Windham, who finishes the year 12-5.

Brandon Dufault allowed just one hit and struck out 14 in a complete-game effort as Windham closed out the regular season with an 8-0 victory over Hanover. Riley Magee led the offense with two hits and three RBIs.

Windham's softball team finished the regular season undefeated (17-0) with an 18-5 rout of Hanover. Alyssa Upton had three doubles and five RBIs and scored three times and Rachel Estes added three hits and three RBIs as well.

Repeat champ McKee is the man for Windham

Windham has now produced the last five individual golf champions. 

James McKee dominated once again. With an impressive two-day score of 140, McKee successfully defended his individual state title. How good actually was McKee? Phin Choukas of Hanover, the runner-up, posted a two-day total of 151, 11 strokes back. McKees' 11-stroke victory is one better than his 10-stroke blowout of the field in the 2014 individual state champioship.
