The Brooks girls lacrosse team opened its season with a bang, routing St. Paul's 17-1. Margaret Klein of North Andover had four goals and an assist and Liv King of Georgetown added three goals and an assist.

The middle of the order (Michael Johnson, Jason Buco, Alex Clapp) combined for seven hits and seven RBIs as Brooks downed St. Paul's 8-5.

Brooks ace Britt Hart of North Andover usually makes headlines with her pitching, but she did it with her bat yesterday in a 21-5 romp over St. Paul's. Hart was 3 for 3, scored four times and knocked in a whopping seven runs, four coming on a grand slam in the third inning over the fence in center field. It marked the first home run hit over the newly-installed fence.

Bridget Lahey registered a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds as Brooks prevented a winless season with a 46-37 win over St. Paul's, in the season's final game. The Green and White (1-18) received a pair of three pointers from Britt Hart. 

Behind the stellar play of middle hitter Meghan McCafferty, No. 1 Phillips downed No. 8 St. Paul's 25-11, 25-14, 25-16 in the New England Class A quarterfinals. Cristina Mommsen, Jamie Shenk and Melissa Yan also stood out for the Big Blue (14-0).

Eliza Marshall scored a stunning six goals as Brooks pounded St. Paul's 6-3 in the last home game of the season for the Green and White.

The Govs (9-2-1) executed a strong first half offensive attack and dismantled St. Paul's on Wednesday afternoon, 4-0. All four goals were scored in the initial half with Linley Block scoring two and dishing out an assist, Taylor Ocko netting a pair, and Becca Block assisting twice.

The Govs (6-8) lost a tough one to a driven St. Paul's team on Wednesday, 2-1. The Govs dominated the first half early, but could not find the back of the net until, with 11:28 remaining in the half, Jill Conway found Kate Leary for the game's first goal. However, St. Paul's increased their aggression from there on out and managed to overwhelm the Govs for the win. Governor's Academy is now in a must-win scenario for their last three games in order to qualify for the state tournament.

Andover's Summer Washburn scored 1:30 into overtime to help Phillips field hockey avoid an upset with a 1-0 victory over St. Paul's. Big Blue improved to 9-1-1.

After scoring five goals in her first nine games of the season, Amanda Brisco tallied a whopping four goals in Phillips' 4-0 victory over St. Paul's. She has now scored nine of the 14 goals the Big Blue have scored this season. Goalie Alex Farrell added an assist on a long kick.
