Odds and ends: Graduated three from last year's squad that lost a 1-0 overtime decision | on a penalty kick | to Merrimack in the Class L semis. ... Donnelly is getting looks colleges at the Division 1, 2 and 3 levels, coach Jim Tremblay says. ... Sisters Erin Griffin and Kelley Griffin will both start ... Tremblay, in his first year at the helm, was a voluntary varsity assistant for three seasons. A 1992 graduate of Pinkerton, he teaches history and psychology at LHS and is also the director of the school's drama program. Coach: Jim Tremblay (1st year): "I think we kind of left some unfinished business on the table last year ... That left kind of a desire in the seniors' hearts. ... After only losing three seniors last year, we have a good shot at doing very well this year. I think we're cautiously optimistic. ... (Goalie Elise Berry) is very confident. She makes very smart decisions. She'll risk anything to prevent the ball from going into the net. ... I really think this might be the year people notice Kelley Griffin and Tori McCombs. They're both very fast with very good ball skills. As sophomores, they're starting to peak with their speed and their ability. ... I think people are expecting a lot of us this year. But it pales with what we expect of ourselves."
