Odds and ends: Central didn't make the tourney for the second straight year in 2006. ... KB Oshodi will be moved to the attack. Tim Adamchuk is moving back to defense from forward, but will split some time with the positions. "We haven't had that kind of versatility in the past," said coach Ray Flaherty. ... The already-strong midfield seems to be improving with some new faces. ... Josh Voto is a strong prospect as a freshman forward. "He'll get some minutes," Flaherty said. ... KB Oshodi is one of the region's premier three-sport athletes and is also senior class president.

Coach Ray Flaherty (21st year, 15-16-19): "We're hoping Mukena Mbiye will provide us with more offense. Our top three scorers are back, so we're looking for more output from them. We've played good defense the last few years, but the offense has been lacking. We have some good depth and versatility, which is not something we've had before. Both our goaltenders are new, and they're both playing relatively decent so far, but they're both also making mistakes. At least for a while, they'll rotate and hopefully one can step up. I think that's our biggest question mark."
