NORTH SUTTON, N.H. Joe DeAngelo did it all last night to lift Pelham to a hard-fought 24-23 victory at Kearsarge.
DeAngelo began the scoring in the first quarter with a 6-yard touchdown run and threw to Sean Sweeney for two points to make it 8-0. He made it 16-8 before halftime with an 8-yard TD pass to Kevin Cheam and a conversion pass to Cam Robidoux.
Kearsarge rallied in he second half to take a 23-16 lead, but DeAngelo wasn't done yet. With four minutes left, he scored on a 3-yard run and then ran in the extra points to account for the winning point.
Pelham (4-2)will host St. Thomas Friday at 7 p.m.
