NORTH ANDOVER | Steve Boudreau went 8-for-8 passing on North Andover's first two series. Mixed with the Scarlet Knights' traditional running attack, North Andover scored on both long scoring drives and took the wind out of Triton's sails.

It was all North Andover most of the night in a 27-0 romp. When Boudreau (9 for 10, 105 yards, 2 TDs) threw, he looked for senior David Sousa, who caught two touchdown passes.

Already up 13-0 after a dominating first half in which the Scarlet Knights did not allow a first down until less than two minutes to play, North Andover sealed the deal on the first series by forcing Triton to punt.

On that punt Zac Iovanella, who also rushed for 41 yards with a score, came bursting in, blocking the punt. That gave North Andover the ball on the Triton 16. Two plays and 11 seconds later, Iovanella finished off what he started with a 3-yard score, killing off any real chances for a Triton comeback.

After another three-and-out for Triton, the Scarlet Knights used their big workhorse fullback Matt Burckhardt to grind down the game as he carried five times for 37 yards. On fourth-and-seven North Andover elected to pass and Steven Boudreau found David Sousa for their second touchdown connection of the game, capping the scoring at 27-0.

Burckhardt said it was just fun to be out there and get the team back up over .500 (3-2) for the first time in the season.

North Andover will look to make it four wins in a row next Saturday at 11 a.m at Lynnfield.
