Since Cindy Surrett set the Andover High outdoor track record in the high jump in 1984, the mark has only been matched twice — both by Jessica Salley in the last two weeks.
For the second time in eight days, Salley tied the school record with a 5-4, this time in the Golden Warriors' 103-41 win over Lowell. Teammate Moira Cronin, who won the 100 hurdles yesterday, also tied the jump during the indoor season. Salley chipped in a win in the grueling 400 hurdles and Shea Mosquera took the shot put and discus.
Winners:
Pole vault: Alyssa Cummings 7-6; Shot put: Shea Mosquera 33-2; Discus: Mosquera 85-8; Long jump: Abbey Pettoruto 15-9; Triple jump: Pettoruto 32-5; High jump: Jessica Salley 5-4; 100 hurdles: Moira Cronin 16.5; 100 meters: Kayla Baldwin 12.8; 4x100 relay: Andover (Baldwin, Chelsea Angelstano, Lauren Pien, Eve Bishop) 52.9; 400: Vanessa Singleton 63.2; 400 hurdles: Salley 68.5; 800: Colleen Shannon 2:26.0; 200: Melissa Knapp 27.4; 4x400 relay: Andover (Knapp, Singleton, Sydney Eberth, Rae Brokenant) 4:26.1
