If the rebuilding Cats don't figure in the CAC Large race, they should be spoilers.

Coach Kevin Bradley says:

Midseason Mr. Reliable: "Bryan Trickett. I always knew he could run with the football, but defensively he makes plays that you can only shake your head at. He's been that good."

Midseason unsung hero: "Craig Eaton. He's really stepped it up on offense, and he's getting better all the time. Every week he makes a big play for us. One other guy I'd say is Jeff Beauregard. He's a guy that didn't play much as a junior but goes out and hustles on every single play. Both these guys are the kind of guys who you hope the underclassmen are watching and learning how to play the game."

Biggest surprise: "We've played six games and at least in five-and-a-half of them, we were there right to the end. It's amazing to see how far our young guys have come in the fourth quarter, when it counts. The biggest surprise is how fast they've learned at this level."

Second-half goal: "The first half we wanted to be in games, now we have to go out and win them."

How to make it happen: "We need consistency. We make a great play, then can't stop the other team. We have to get more consistent."
