Kudos to the Scarlet Knights, who summer seem impervious to graduation, no matter how painful the losses were. After two defeats to open the year, they've ripped off four straight wins. Road dates at Pentucket, Wilmington and Masco will tell North Andover's fate.

Coach John Rafferty says:

Midseason Mr. Reliable: "My two captains, Matt Burckhardt and Steve Boudreau. Burckhardt leads by example and Boudreau is a little more vocal. Together, they've been super leaders." Midseason unsung hero: "Andrew Bogosian. He's a senior starter at tackle and defensive end, and he's just been so steady. He's been a great leader on our line."

Biggest surprise: "The play of sophomore Zac Iovanella. His brother was a heck of a player for us. And Zac came in off a nice, not a great, freshman year. But as this season's progressed, he's shown to have the makings of a very good one."

Second-half goal: "As always, our goal is to get better every week. And so far this team has done that."

How to make it happen: "The kids have really understood that to get better, you have to show up every single day. They see that success comes in small increments and you have to earn it every day."
