MANCHESTER, N.H. | Alex Theodosi ran in an early fourth-quarter touchdown from six yards out, but by then the game was already well in hand for Manchester West, which cruised to a 31-7 win over Londonderry.
After a low-scoring first half, Bill Clement (11 carries, 131 yards) scored a pair of third-quarter touchdowns on 22- and 24-yard runs to open up an insurmountable 17-point lead. In all, the West ground assault piled up 365 yards. Nick Clement ran for 92 yards on 12 carries.
The Theodosi touchdown and Cody Byrd PAT cut the lead to 10 points, but Lyle Smith and Kervin Rodriguez both ran in late 1-yard scores to ice the game.
Ryan Griffin led the Lancers' offense with 112 yards on nine carries. Craig Enos completed four of his 10 passes for 88 yards.
