Solid day for Sachems at Henry Sheldon Classic

The Pentucket boys and girls track teams won a combined eight events at Saturday's Henry Sheldon Triton Classic, which combines both a program's boys and girls scores to find an overall winner. The Sachems finished third with 165 points, trailing Amesbury (250) and Triton (200).

Jack Clohisy shined for the boys, finishing first in the 110 hurdles (15.63) and fourth in the triple jump (39-4) while running a leg of the winning 4x400 team (3:36.32) along with Will Coppola, Anthony Accardi and Peter Lopata.

On the girls side, Emily Rubio won the long jump (17-10.75), came fourth in the 100 meters (13.50) a ran on the third-place 4x100 relay team (52.47). Phoebe Rubio won the mile 5:34.21 and also ran on the fifth-place 4x400 relay team (4:41.52).
