The Haverhill boys soccer team snuck out a close one as they beat Malden Catholic 2-1. Charlie Roche and Corey Pond tallied both goals and Will Menter assisted on Roche's goal. Luke McCartney had four saves to help the Hillies close out the season at 14-2.
"It was a fantastic season," Coach John Coppola said. "The kids pulled together and worked as a team, and that's why we finished 14-2. We're looking forward to the postseason and seeing if we can make a run."
