Greater Lawrence senior Malib Pastrana certainly made his mark on the State Vocational Meet. He had the fastest pin of the day, in nine seconds, had four first period pins on his way to winning the 195-pound title and he was named the tourney Outstanding Wrestler for the upper weights.

Pastrana paced the Reggies ro eighth place in the 18-team field, two behind Whittier. The Wildcats were led by Andrew Buzzell (second at 195) and heavyweight Jon Ahern, who was third.
