HILLSBOROUGH — Windham (3-0) continued its dominant start to the season, traveling to Hillsboro-Deering on Saturday and demolishing the hosts, 52-0.
This one was over by halftime.
Seth Maffeo broke off touchdown runs of 56 and 14 yards in the first quarter. Then in the second, the Jaguars ripped off three straight touchdowns in a matter of two and ahalf minutes to make it 35-0 at the break.
Maffeo finished with a team-high 116 yards on just five carries. Ryan Marotta rushed for a score and returned the second half kickoff 88 yards for another.
Quarterback Cody Potter only completed two passes, but both were 12-yard touchdowns to Thomas Splagounias and Royce Belsky.
Defensively for the Jaguars, Anthony McGuire and Collin Peterson had interceptions. Joe Dickerson recovered a fumble, and Joe Micciche forced another.
Windham wil host Souhegan Friday at 7 p.m.
