Timberlane placed 11 wrestlers in today's quarterfinals and had three others alive in the consolation bracket to take a two-point lead heading into the second day of the Lowell Holiday Tournament at the Tsongas Arena.
Among the featured quarterfinal matches, Timberlane's Connor McGonagle will face Central's Joey Sanchez at 126 pounds and Timberlane's Jake Post will square off against Windham's Mike Tanguay at 195.
The finals are scheduled to start at 5 p.m. today.
