LONDONDERRY — Senior Joe Crabtree finished his Timberlane football career making perhaps his biggest play.

Down 14-6, Londonderry quarterback Jake Stevens (13 for 28, 194 yards) found Ben Johnson on a 15 yard touchdown pass for his second TD hurl of the game with 31 seconds left to go. Crabtree was there on the two-point conversion try however, knocking away the potential game-tying points.

Troy Blackadar recovered the onside kick for Timberlane, sealing the 14-12 wins for the Owls. Both team's finished the year at 2-7.

"It's a great way to go into the offseason," said Timberlane coach Kevin Fitzgerald. "I couldn't be happier for the seniors. They showed up every day and did it the right way."

Timberlane scored in the first quarter when Brandon Berube caught a 28-yard touchdown pass from Dan Hayes. Londonderry responded in the second when Eric Doran caught a 3-yard pass from Stevens to make it 7-6 at the half. Trevor Guilmette's 7-yard run put the Owls up 14-6 with 2:32 left in the fourth.

Junior Jacob Post had 59 yards on 11 carries. He finished the season with 1,341 rushing yards.
