LOWELL — Central Catholic outscored Lowell 28-0 to finish the game en route to a 49-13 win.

It was 21-0 in the fourth with Central scoring on a 73-yard Brett Edwards pass to Johandy Gonzalez, a Ty Donatio run then a Matt Horgan run.

Edwards (14 of 19, 216 yards, 2 TD passes) also connected with T.J. Vaughan on a 14-yard TD pass and ran for a 4-yard score.

Donatio also scored on a 29-yard run abnd Joe Howshan (15 carries, 119 yards) had a 7-yard scoring run.

Central bounced back from last week's loss to Haverhill to improve to 4-1 while Lowell fell to 2-4.

Central plays Andover next Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Haverhill's Trinity Stadium.
