A wet and sloppy night in Dracut called for an emphasis on the running game; much to the delight of North Andover running back Joseph Samuelman. Samuelman played a massive role in North Andover's (3-1) 37-0 win over Dracut (0-4).

The 6", 215 pounder put up numbers that would make any fantasy football owners proud. Samuelman found the endzone four times on the night, while rushing for a total of 147 yards. He outran the entire Dracut team, as the Middies were only able to muster 86 total yards of offense on the night.

"He ran unbelieably tonight, and never went down on a play. He's a real bulll," said North Andover head coach John Dubzinski. "He has such a high football I.Q, and he's such a great player overall that has done a great job transitioning to being a back."

Samuelman is a linebacker/fullback at heart, but has had to shoulder the bulk of the load the past week and a half due to the injury of senior running back Ryan Good. Good went down during last weeks contest at Haverhill, but is expected to return next week.

That good news can not be said about fellow back Te'Shuan McCray-Watson. McMray will miss the rest of the season due to ligament damage in his knee.

Samuelson was more than ready to take the offensive responsibilities tonight, and was helped by teammate Jukka Morales who rushed for 68 yards of his own. The two men were the leaders in North Andover's 250 total rushing yards on the night.

North Andover effectively put the game away on both sides of haltime. A five-play 67 yard drive finished in a touchdown as the first half expired, while a methodical seven-play 55 yard drive ended with Samuelman's final touchdown of the day to start the second half.

Dracut struggled getting their offfense going, and were on the end of some huge hits by North Andover defenders. Paul Wolstromer along with who other than Samuelman were all over the field defensively, recording a half dozen tackles each.

North Andover will now gear up for a huge machup against Billerica next Friday night.

"We're always excited to compete," said Dubzinski. "We're going to need a great game against them next week which will all start with a good week in practice."
