Londonderry runs away with win

HUDSON — Londonderry quarterback Eric Fairweather rushed 14 times for 183 yards and one touchdown to lead Londonderry 41-15 over Alrvine.
The Lancers (6-1) led by just a touchdown at halftime but used their rushing game and defense to finish off Alvirne in the second half.
 Londonderry totaled 387 yards on the ground to Alvirne’s 117. The Lancers recorded 413 total yards while Alvirne had 325 yards more plays.
But Alvirne had two costly interceptions.
Lancers’  Jimmy Nee intercepted a pass and returned it for a touchdown during the fourth quarter.
Dennis Bishop rushed three times for 84 and a TD while Kyle Byrd carried six times for 68 yards.
Michael Ryan added four carries for 50 yards and a touchdown.
Londonderry hosts Nashua South next week and then travels to Salem the following week to finish out its regular season.
