North Andover's Joe Staudt was the area's best performer at the MVC freshman-sophomore track meet yesterday.
Staudt was victorious in the 110 high hurdles (15.4) as well as the triple jump (40-2).
Chris Dalke joined Staudt in the winner's circle for the Knights, running the 800 in 2:04.7.
Renjie Zheng also excelled for Central Catholic, taking top honors in the long jump (18-5) while placing third in the 200 and helping the Raider freshman 4x100 relay team finish second.
Other winners for Central were Marcus Edmunds in the 200 (24.2), Mike Milano in the 400 hurdles (59.8) and the open 4x400 relay team of Paul Flurry, Zach Kryzynski, Will Wheeler and Jaxell Negron (3:45.9).
Andover received victories from Sam Marotta in the discus (113-4) and Joe Vetere in the pole vault (11-0).
Methuen got a triumphant effort from Jeff Reddy in the 2-mile (10:14.5), Lawrence was led by Edward Quezeda in the open mile (4:36.2) and Haverhill's Jack Pettis was best in the javelin (122-6).
