Kelsey Shiebel scored 15 and Kerry White added 13 points and 11 rebounds as No. 9 Windham issued a 61-39 knockout punch to top-seed Hollis-Brookline, in the Division 2 quarterfinals.
A stifling fourth-quarter defense proved to the be the difference as the Jaquars broke open a six-point game and turned it into a 22-point runaway.
"Team defense was the key," said Windham head coach Joe Mason. "It came down to team defense we exploded for 22 points, most on transition."
Windham (19-5) allowed just one field goal in the fourth quarter.
The game was tied at halftime (22-22) and the tide turned in Windham's favor when Brianna Angelini came off the bench to spark the offense with 11 points.
"Slowly, but surely we kept building our lead and suddenly it was a 20-point game," said Mason. "When Brianna came in, we took over. She came off the bench and was a spark plug. To get that production off the bench was huge for us."
Windham meets No. 5 Kearsarge in the semifinals on Monday, at Southern New Hampshire University (7:30 p.m.).
"It was a good team win," said Mason. "We played hard, we played together and we played smart."
