ASHBURNHAM — Phillips Academy was only trailing by a point at halftime, but its offense never got on track and the Big Blue fell to Cushing Academy 20-6.

Trailing 7-0 in the second quarter, Phillips cut the gap to 7-6 on a one-yard Joe Kruy runbuut the extra-point failed and the Big Blue was not able to score again.

Eli Rolle scored on two short runs for Cushing in the third quarter to put the game away. Phillips (0-2) managed only 134 total yards of offense.
