Pelham upset bid denied by Goffstown

PELHAM — John Bourk rushed for 150 yards and a touchdown, but Pelham couldn’t keep up with Goffstown and dropped a 37-16 decision. Goffstown (5-0) scored 31 points in the third quarter to overturns Pelham’s 14-6 halftime advantage.
Pelham (0-5) took a 13-0 lead on first half touchdowns by Devin DeCarteret (2-yard run) and Bourk (1-yard run) before Goffstown exploded in the third with four touchdowns and a safety.
Pelham hosts Alvirne on Friday (7 p.m.).
