That is, until one speaks with Amesbury coach Thom Connors. "I'm not quite sure why we'd be considered a favorite," Connors said. "You can't compare us to Triton or Pentucket because they're in the Cape Ann League Large. Newburyport will return a strong nucleus. They have five or six kids that can really play. So I'd say we're right in the same position as everyone else | hoping for the best."
