Sam Driend scored team-highs in kills (15) and service points (12) and added three aces as Methuen handed North Middlesex its third loss of the season, 3-1. The victory was career win No. 200 for Rangers head coach Matt Twomey. 

Central Catholic outlasted Methuen in five games, winning the final set 17-15. Olivia Hall had 17 kills and six aces for the Raiders.

After missing the playoffs a year ago, the Methuen volleyball team is back in the big dance after beating Chelmsford 3-0. Meghan Levesque led the Rangers (10-8) with 10 kills and 4 blocks.

Roselly Nunez notched 10 service points and Emily Spina added 12 digs as Methuen opened its new home court with a 3-0 victory over Swampscott. It was the first home match of the season for the Rangers.  

Down 2-0 with their season on the line, Methuen rallied to beat North Andover in the last three games 25-21, 25-17, 15-13. The Rangers are now 8-8 and the Knights are 10-4. Sam Driend led Methuen with 17 kills, 14 service points and five aces, Meghan Levesque had 15 kills and Emily Spina 28 digs.

Trailing Methuen in games 2-1, Andover's volleyball team tied it up with a 30-28 marathon win and then win the clinching fifth game 15-12 to slip past Methuen. Sophia Martinez had 19 kills for the Warriors and Brooke Abouhamad had a whopping 37 assists.

Lawrence swept Methuen, 3-0, behind the stellar play from Yemayma Molina (10 kills), Dejalee Torres (4 blocks), and Amaiya Lu (8 digs). 

Rosely Nunez had 13 blocks and Rachel Batista added 12, including the game-winner, as Methuen rallied past Billerica, 3-2, after losing the first two sets. Kate McDonnell had 26 assists and 21 digs.

Each team traded games, leading to a winner-take-all Game 5 between Andover and Methuen volleyball. The Warriors would up taking the thrilling match, 15-11, to improve to 3-2 on the young season. Sophia Martinez (17 kills, 4 blocks) and Brooke Abouhamad (37 assists, 22 service points, 5 aces, 3 blocks) were the leaders for the Warriors.

Down 22-13 in set 4, Methuen rallied and then took the fifth set, 17-15, for a thriller over Lowell. Samantha Driend (13 kills, 6 aces), Kate McDonnell (25 assists) and Erin Smith (7 aces) led the way.
