Central golfers tie

 Central Catholic golfers Mikey Yfantopulos and Josh Lavallee both fired 79s Tuesday at the Division 2 state tournament in Williamstown to tie for 16th place among individuals. Winchester's Trevor Lopez was the medalist with a 71 and Concord-Carlisle was the team champion.

Double medalist

Jack DiFloures and freshman Nick Samaha tied for medalist honors, each shooting an even-par 35, as Haverhill topped Central Catholic 14-6. Sean Crockett, Matt Murphy and Sam Boyer also had wins for the Hillies (9-3).

Impressive Warriors

The Andover golf team showed off its depth in a clean, 20-0, sweep of Central Catholic. Perrenial all-star Mac Lee earned an impressive 5-and-4 win at No. 1 over Central Catholic stud Josh Lavallee, who was our MVP last year.
